Oh Hello

Brisbane. 

She may not be as inspiring as Paris, as sparkly as Sydney or as fast-paced as New York, but these days Brisbane does seem to have a sort of je ne sais quoi about her. 

It seems that when the Brisbane river broke her banks and encroached on the city in 2011, she also paved the way for or a new wave of development and rejuvenation throughout the city.

Since the flood, Brisbane has seen an influx of new shops, cafes, bars and restaurants and she finally seems to be catching up to her Southern counterparts. Old haunts have been refurbished and new hotspots seem to pop up every week...the city is slowly shaking off its sleepy reputation and becoming a place of exploration.
